DISCOVERIES IN THE VALLEY OF THE KINGS Part 2.

The Kings Valley in the Amarna Era: KV46, KV54, KV55, KV57, KV58, KV62, KV63…
Who was buried in King’s Valley tomb 55? Were the burials of Akhenaten and Queen Tiye transferred from Amarna to Thebes? Why do most of the substantially intact burials we have in the Valley of the Kings date from around the Amarna period? What remains to be discovered there? This talk tackles these fascinating questions, and shows, in the process, how KV55 probably offers clues to a lost history of the King’s Valley.
